Quickest way: email [email protected] with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and tell us the platform and your account username. We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email.
Option 1: Revoke access in platform settings
Removing Content Boost in your platform settings immediately stops our tool from accessing or publishing to your account. When we detect that access has been revoked, we delete the stored data for that account within 30 days.
TikTok
- Open the TikTok app and go to your Profile.
- Tap the menu icon (☰) and choose Settings and privacy.
- Go to Security and permissions (called Security in some versions), then Apps and services permissions (or Manage app permissions).
- Select Content Boost and tap Remove access.
- Open Instagram and go to your Profile.
- Tap the menu icon (☰) and choose Settings and activity.
- Go to Website permissions → Apps and websites and open the Active tab.
- Select Content Boost and tap Remove.
If your Instagram account was connected through a Facebook Page, also remove the app from Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (and Apps and websites) → select Content Boost → Remove.
- Sign in to LinkedIn and click Me → Settings & Privacy.
- Open Data privacy, then Other applications → Permitted services.
- Find Content Boost and click Remove.
Platforms occasionally rename their menus. If a step looks different in your app, search the platform's settings for “apps”, “permissions” or “connected services”, or email [email protected] and we will disconnect the account for you.
If you want written confirmation that your data has been deleted, also send us an email as described in Option 2.
Option 2: Email us a deletion request
- Send an email to [email protected].
- Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- Include:
- the platform (TikTok, Instagram or LinkedIn), and
- your account username on that platform.
Please send the request from an email address associated with your account or our business relationship. If we cannot match the request to an account, we may ask you to confirm that you control it before we delete anything.
What gets deleted
For the account you name, we delete:
- Access tokens (OAuth access and refresh tokens);
- Account identifiers (platform account ID, and the linked Facebook Page or LinkedIn Page ID where applicable);
- Profile information (username or display name and profile picture); and
- Scheduled or unpublished content (videos, images, captions and their scheduled times), along with the post status records for that account.
We may keep a minimal record that the request was received and completed (date, platform and username) to show that we have complied, and any information we are legally required to keep.
Timeline and confirmation
Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request or of access being revoked. When you contact us by email, we will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
Content already published
Posts that have already been published live on the platform, under that platform’s own rules. Deleting your data from Content Boost does not remove them from TikTok, Instagram or LinkedIn.
- You can delete published posts yourself directly on the platform at any time.
- Or, if our access to your account is still active, ask us in your email to delete specific published posts (or all posts we published) and we will do it before we disconnect the account. Once access has been revoked, we can no longer delete posts for you.
